What To Eat Before Training
Fuel up your body before a work out to get the best out of your exercise sessions. Eat about half an hour pre-activity so your body can process the food and turn it into energy. This will fire up those muscles and let you go hard in your work out. No food in the tank usually means less effort going into your session, a longer recovery time and slower to reap the benefits.
Simple is best. You don't need to consume a large amount of food, just enough to give your body a boost. Choose from healthy, unprocessed foods. A banana is a powerhouse of good energy, or try rolled oats with a handful of berries and milk. If you're stretched for time or caught without your prepped food, drink a cup of strong, black coffee.
